Energinet.dk placed part of a DKK 250 million package of Kriegers Flak grid connection component orders with ABB for the supply of AC reactors for the power stations linking the offshore Kriegers Flak network to the Danish transmission grid. ABB’s scope covers manufacturing and delivery of high‑voltage reactor equipment, providing reactive power compensation and voltage control within the onshore substations that form part of the Kriegers Flak Combined Grid Solution, supporting reliable operation of the new cross‑border interconnection during construction and commissioning.
