For the project to supply electricity to Kråmö and nearby islands in the Trosa archipelago, Vattenfall ordered approximately 3 km of sea-armoured (steel wire armoured) submarine cable from Nexans. The specially designed long-length submarine cable, delivered on two 14‑ton drums, was procured to enable laying of the new seabed power connections to the islands.
