In 2008, Asso.subsea (project code K241) carried out laying, landing, and offshore protection of a 20 kV power cable between Kalymnos and Kos in Greece for owner PPC, with contractor Fulgor. The works involved installation of approximately 32,000 m of submarine cable and 5,200 m of cable burial at depths of 2.0 m and 0.5 m, marking completion of the interconnector’s cable installation scope.
