The 35 kV Grscica-Zarebra submarine power cable was laid and energised in 1995 as the primary electricity supply to the island of Lastovo, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Croatia. The cable runs between uvala Grscica on the south coast of Korcula and uvala Zarebra on Lastovo (near rt Zrvanj), continuing underground to TS Predhodiste. It is operated at 20 kV nominal voltage per Croatian PKB 35(20) kV convention. Its installation demoted the older 1960 Stratincica-Korita 10 kV cable to backup status. Operator: HEP ODS. Source: Lastovo UPU paragraph 1.1.3.3.1: 'kabel 35kV (polozen je 1995)... ovaj kabel je pod 20kV naponom i napaja otok Lastovo u normalnim okolnostima'. Year precision used (exact month/day not published). Supplier and installer for the 1995 campaign were not located in publicly available sources. Recorded during manual audit review 2026-04-15.
