Cable tracking, ROV video, multibeam and sidescan sonar survey on the Konti-Skan HVDC link (Konti-Skan 1 and 2) between Lindome (south of Gothenburg, Sweden) and Læsø (Denmark).
In 2016 Clinton Marine Survey was awarded a cable tracking project on the Konti-Skan HVDC interconnector between Sweden and Denmark, covering the cable systems of Konti-Skan 1 and Konti-Skan 2. Using its survey vessels MV Lode and MV Stenkoll, the company performed subsea cable tracking, ROV video inspection, multibeam bathymetry, and sidescan sonar over water depths from 0 to 80 metres on the section between Lindome in Sweden and Læsø in Denmark. The campaign supported condition assessment and integrity management of the existing HVDC submarine cables during the operations and maintenance phase.
