Cable tracking, ROV video, multibeam and sidescan sonar survey of the Konti-Skan HVDC subsea cable link between Lindome (Sweden) and Læsø (Denmark), owned and operated by Svenska kraftnät as part of the Konti-Skan 1 and 2 interconnector.
Clinton Marine Survey was awarded a subsea cable tracking and inspection project on the Konti-Skan HVDC interconnector between Sweden and Denmark, which includes Konti-Skan 1. The scope comprised tracking the existing HVDC cables, collecting ROV video, and performing multibeam and sidescan sonar surveys along the link between Lindome in Sweden and Læsø in Denmark, in water depths from 0 to 80 metres. The work provided condition and route information to the owner, Svenska kraftnät, to support ongoing operation, maintenance planning and integrity management of the interconnector’s submarine cables.
