Major milestone or critical setback
DELAYED +1yr (Apr 2026): Energinets official project page for the Glentegård–Nordhavn–Amagerværket 132 kV cable and new Oceankaj (Nordhavn) high‑voltage station (KBH05 scope) lists the project as "Forventes i drift 2027". The same page previously showed a timeline where cable work would finish and the link be put into operation in 1Q 2026, but news updates from March 2026 (e.g. about ongoing cable work in Vangede and Hellerup and new cable jointing on Kellersvej and Bengtasvej) show that the 1Q 2026 energisation has already slipped. Given this missed milestone and Energinet’s own 2027 in‑service expectation, the earlier database projection of full commercial operations at 2026‑12‑01 is no longer realistic. The commercial full‑power date is therefore adjusted conservatively to 2027, in line with Energinet’s stated "in operation" year while reflecting schedule slippage. --- Project documentation for the KBH05 cable and high-voltage station project states that commissioning (idriftsættelse) of the new 132 kV cable connection between Glentegård (GLN), Oceankaj (OCE) and Amagerværket (AMV), including associated offshore and onshore works, is planned for December 2026, following construction activities scheduled mainly for 2025–2026. This commissioning will bring the new transmission link into operational service to support electricity supply and growing demand in the Greater Copenhagen area.
