A March 10, 2021 article on Hellenic Cables’ KBH02 contract reports that about 11 km of 145 kV XLPE-insulated submarine cable for the København02 project would be manufactured at the company’s Corinth plant with manufacturing expected to wrap up in autumn 2021. A later Danish expropriation document for KBH02 (December 2022) states that Energinet established the 12.4 km 132 kV cable connection between Svanemølle Koblingsstation and Amagerværket in 2020/21, implying the submarine cable system was completed and available in 2021. On this basis, manufacturing is treated as completed sometime in 2021.
