Semco Maritime secured an EPCI contract from CS WIND (formerly Bladt Industries), with Innogy as end customer, for the Kaskasi II offshore wind farm covering full electrical engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the offshore substation, transition pieces and monopile foundations. The scope includes design, E&I works, onshore and offshore construction, and commissioning of a 325 MW topside that will connect 38 wind turbines via inter-array and export cables to the HelWin Beta HVDC platform, with work scheduled over the 2019–2022 period in the German Bight.
