Dutch manufacturer Twentsche Kabel Fabriek (TKF) was awarded a contract by Seaway 7 to supply 52 kilometres of 33 kV aluminium-core inner-array grid cables, plus associated accessories, for Innogy’s 342 MW Kaskasi offshore wind farm. The inter-array cables will connect the 38 Siemens Gamesa turbines to the offshore substation, with delivery and installation starting in 2021.
