Description
JD-Contractor A/S acted as subsea installation contractor for the Samsø–Jutland high-voltage AC power link, listed in its reference portfolio as a "Power Cable" project at the location "Samsø-Jylland". Working under contract to NKT Cables, JD-Contractor carried out offshore construction-phase works to lay the submarine interconnector cables between the Danish mainland (Jutland) and the island of Samsø. Based on project data, this involved installing two parallel 110 kV HVAC submarine cables over an approximately 18.5 km route, forming the main island-grid connection and enabling secure power exchange with Energinet’s transmission system.
