During April 2006, Mammoet Van Oord successfully drove a 2 m diameter, 65 m long, 165 t steel test monopile to 25.5 m below the seabed at the Lynn and Inner Dowsing project area, completing the planned geotechnical drivability test and providing Centrica with key soil and installation performance data ahead of full foundation installation.
