In 2014, the Scottish Ministers granted Inch Cape Offshore Limited Section 36 consent and associated Marine Licences for the original Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm and its Offshore Transmission Works, authorising construction and operation of the project’s initial design, which provided for up to 110 turbines offshore and related transmission infrastructure.
