Inch Cape Offshore Wind Ltd has scheduled a dedicated seabed preparation campaign for the week of 20–26 April 2026, as set out in Weekly Notice of Operations 16/2026. The notice, issued on 20 April 2026, defines the work period and confirms that offshore construction at the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm has been underway since June 2025. Within this broader construction context, N‑Sea is tasked to continue seabed preparation operations across both the wind farm array area and the export cable corridor. These activities are essential to ready the site for subsequent installation of offshore structures and power export systems. According to the notice, N‑Sea will focus on boulder relocation in areas where seabed obstructions could impede installation of wind turbine foundations, inter‑array cables, and the twin 220 kV export cables that run between the offshore substation and the Cockenzie landfall in East Lothian. The work will be executed by the vessel N‑Sea Pathfinder, operating within the defined development area and along the export cable route. By clearing and re‑profiling the seabed in this timeframe, the campaign is intended to secure suitable installation conditions and reduce construction risks for upcoming foundation and cable works as Inch Cape progresses through its offshore construction phase.
