CNOOD-Wenchong Heavy Industries (CWHI) has completed delivery of the final transition pieces (TPs) for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm. The completion closes out CWHI's TP manufacturing scope for ICOL, the project SPV jointly owned by ESB and Red Rock Renewables. CWHI shares the TP fabrication workshare with COOEC and Dajin Offshore Heavy Industry, with installation handled separately by Seaway7 from heavy-lift vessel Seaway Alfa Lift since mid-March 2026. Each transition piece stands up to 28 metres tall, with an outer diameter of 8.3 metres and an approximate weight of 600 metric tonnes. Final delivery completes a manufacturing milestone ahead of the 2026 turbine installation campaign and supports first-power in late 2026 and full commercial operations in 2027.
