On 16 July 2020, the Scottish Ministers approved Inch Cape Offshore Limited’s Section 36 consent variation, increasing the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm’s maximum generating capacity from around 700 MW to up to 1,000 MW while keeping all other consented design parameters unchanged.
