Inch Cape’s offshore transmission system, comprising the offshore substation platform, twin 220 kV export cables and the new onshore substation at Cockenzie, is targeted to transmit first power from the 1.1 GW wind farm to the UK grid in late 2026, marking initial energisation of the Inch Cape OFTO assets.
