TenneT plans to commission the 2 GW IJmuiden Ver Gamma Offshore Grid in 2029, bringing the HVDC connection between the IJmuiden Ver Wind Farm Zone and the Dutch 380 kV grid at the new Amaliahaven substation on the Maasvlakte into full operational service. The transmission system includes an offshore converter platform, 525 kV DC offshore and onshore cable systems, an onshore converter station at Maasvlakte, and 380 kV AC cables to Amaliahaven.
