Asso.subsea carried out offshore protection works for the HVAC export cables associated with the IFA2 project. Working on the marine sections of the AC connection between the Daedalus converter station and the Chilling substation, the company installed subsea cable protection measures to safeguard the HVAC cables on the seabed and through the nearshore zone. This specialist marine construction scope supported the overall installation and long‑term integrity of the IFA2 AC link during the interconnector’s construction phase.
