Gardiner & Theobald (G&T) provided contract administration and project leadership services to the IFA2 interconnector programme. Working with the project owners National Grid and RTE, G&T administered contracts across UK and French jurisdictions during construction of the 240 km, 1 GW HVDC link between Fareham (UK) and Tourbe (France). Their scope covered commercial and contract management for subsea cable installation and converter station works, procurement support and regulatory/compliance liaison, plus stakeholder engagement and risk monitoring to maintain cross‑border delivery standards. G&T’s role focused on ensuring contractual deliverables, budgetary control and compliance with applicable legal frameworks throughout delivery.
