Arcadis was commissioned by National Grid (together with Fareham Borough Council) to carry out independent peer review and further technical assessment work in support of the IFA2 converter station safety justification. The appointment covered peer review of EMF/RFI analyses, wind-flow and hazard identification/risk assessment outputs and recommendations to develop analysis and validation testing during detailed design. The work informed planning authority scrutiny, mitigation measures and the ongoing assurance evidence for the Daedalus converter station during detailed design.
