Marine licence applications and activity records indicate that unexploded ordnance (UXO) survey/mitigation activities for the IFA2 DC and AC cable redlines were progressed from 2018 (MLA reference series beginning 2018). These UXO works formed part of pre‑construction/site‑preparation activity for the subsea cable corridors and informed any clearance or mitigation required prior to cable laying or nearshore works.
