The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) granted a marine licence for the IFA2 subsea cable installation (public register case reference MLA/2016/00209). The licence authorised works to install the subsea HVDC cable between Normandy (France) and the UK landfall, allowing contractors to progress offshore cable installation and burial activities.
