National Grid (IFA2 project) commenced a final ‘as‑laid’ geophysical survey of the nearshore HVDC and HVAC cable routes off Lee‑on‑Solent on 4 August 2020. The works used the survey vessels TSM OUESSANT and Coastal Observer operating independently along the defined HVAC (purple) and HVDC (blue) corridors to verify cable position and as‑laid condition in the nearshore before close‑out activities.
