Capula was awarded the design, manufacture, test, installation and commissioning contract to deliver the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the Sellindge HVDC converter station (the GB converter station for IFA1). The scope covered replacement and integration of legacy control systems, a new electronic mimic screen and interoperability work to extend the operational life of the converter station and enable integration with IFA2. Capula’s role was a supplier-level contract for control/monitoring systems at the Sellindge converter site and intended to support the station for the next decade.
