For the substations associated with the Ibiza–Formentera interconnection, the regional government of the Balearic Islands granted a favourable Environmental Impact Statement, Prior Administrative Approval, Administrative Permits for Construction Works and the Declaration of Public Utility for the new 132 kV Formentera substation and the enlargement of the existing 132 kV Torrent substation on Ibiza.
