By 30 January 2023 Red Eléctrica and Prysmian had successfully completed the laying and burial of the submarine section of the new 132 kV double‑circuit Ibiza–Formentera electricity link, finishing installation of the three‑core HVAC cables along the 27 km seabed route between the islands.
