Description
MPI Consultants Limited was contracted for the offshore installation of the Humber Gateway offshore substation (OSP). Its scope comprised transporting and installing the fabricated jacket foundation and the pre-assembled electrical equipment decks supplied for the OSP, including lifting, positioning, piling and final offshore integration. The installation campaign was scheduled across Q2–Q3 2014, aligning with completion of export cable installation and preparation for commissioning of the Humber Gateway OFTO transmission assets.
