On 22 December 2011, the developer of Humber Gateway entered into a contract with CG Power Solutions UK Limited for the supply and installation of both the offshore substation platform and the onshore substation at Staithes Road, Salt End, establishing CG Power as the main HVAC substation supplier for the Humber Gateway transmission assets to be owned by the OFTO.
