In 2007, the developer prepared the Environmental Statement for the Humber Gateway project and held five public exhibitions to present the plans and environmental information, including the offshore wind farm and the onshore cable route and substation works that later became the Humber Gateway OFTO transmission assets. These exhibitions allowed local communities to review the proposed development and provide feedback before planning applications were submitted.
