The installation of the two offshore export cables for Humber Gateway was completed between October and December 2013, with ABB-supplied 132 kV submarine cables laid by Visser & Smit Marine Contracting/VBMS and their offshore ends positioned near the offshore substation location, finishing the main subsea cable-laying campaign for the transmission link.
