Cadeler entered into a long-term charter agreement with Ørsted to provide capacity from an A-Class wind farm installation vessel planned to be deployed at the Hornsea Four offshore wind farm in the UK. The vessel was described as capable of transporting and installing XXL monopile foundations (2,000–2,999 tonnes) and 20 MW-plus turbines. The charter secured vessel capacity from Q1 2027 through to the end of 2030; the agreement was later terminated after Ørsted discontinued the Hornsea 4 project.
