In a contract announced in February 2022, Ørsted scheduled marine geotechnical site investigations for the Hornsea Four development, to be carried out by Fugro between May and August 2022, including downhole cone penetration testing, sampling, rock coring, and borehole geophysical logging to inform foundation design and de-risk later project phases.
