Description
Ørsted finalised a contract with Haizea Wind Group, through its subsidiary Haizea Bilbao, for the fabrication of XXL monopile foundations for the Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm. The monopile structures were described as weighing between 1,300 and 2,400 tonnes and measuring 83 to 111 metres in length, with production expected to start in 2024.
