Aarsleff BIZ (Polish subsidiary of Danish contractor Per Aarsleff A/S) is supplying concrete working/access platforms for Hornsea 3 monopile foundations under contract to Ørsted. The platforms are designed by Ørsted and built at Aarsleff BIZ's facility in Świnoujście, Poland, then shipped across the North Sea to the Port of Tyne (UK) at roughly two-week intervals — the first set of 10 platforms departed Świnoujście in mid-February 2026, with a total of 20 shipments planned. The platforms are described by Ørsted as "designed to withstand the harsh weather conditions out at sea and keep our workers safe", supporting safe technician access at each turbine foundation. From the Port of Tyne the platforms are loaded onto Cadeler's Wind Orca jack-up vessel for offshore installation. Aarsleff Group has previously delivered similar concrete works on Hornsea 2 and other UK offshore wind projects.
