Fugro

Fugro commenced marine site characterisation at the Hornsea Project Two offshore wind farm site under a contract awarded by Ørsted. The scope covered geotechnical site investigation, including seabed and downhole geotechnical investigations using specialist vessels and Fugro’s SEACALF MkIV seabed cone penetration testing system. The work followed earlier geophysical investigation services at the site and the resulting data was intended to support the ground model, turbine foundation design activities, and cable route design for Hornsea Project Two (and referenced Hornsea Project Three).
