Description
Ofgem selected Diamond Transmission Partners as the preferred bidder under the UK Offshore Transmission Owner (OFTO) regime to own and operate the high-voltage transmission connection serving the Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm. The OFTO appointment covered the associated transmission assets connecting Hornsea 2 to National Grid’s electricity transmission network at Killingholme, with an initial estimated transfer value of £1.189 billion and a 24-year operating period.
