On 6 July 2018, Fugro commenced marine site characterisation and geotechnical site investigation work at the Hornsea Project Two offshore wind farm site under contract to Ørsted, carrying out seabed and downhole investigations from several specialist vessels to inform the ground model, turbine foundation design, and cable route design for Hornsea Two and the nearby Hornsea Three project.
