On 9 October 2020, Ørsted installed the first of 165 monopile turbine foundations at the Hornsea Two offshore wind farm, marking the start of the main foundation installation campaign using DEME’s jack-up vessel Innovation with monopiles from EEW and transition pieces from Bladt Industries and EEW SPC at the site around 89 km off the UK coast.
