Hornsea Two entered full operation as the world’s largest offshore wind farm, with 165 Siemens Gamesa 8 MW turbines providing around 1.32 GW of capacity and supplying power to more than 1.3 million homes. This marked the transition from commissioning to full commercial service for the project in the Hornsea zone off the Yorkshire coast.
