Description
Ørsted entered into a long-term agreement with Diamond Transmission Partners Hornsea Two Limited to provide operations and maintenance services for the Hornsea 2 transmission assets following their sale under the UK OFTO regime. The service scope covers the offshore substation, the offshore reactive compensation substation (RCS), the export cables, and the onshore substation that connect the Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm to the National Grid at Killingholme. Under this arrangement, Ørsted operates and maintains these HVAC grid connection assets on behalf of the OFTO licensee throughout the operational life of the link.
