Hornsea 2, the world's largest installed windfarm at 1.3 GW, entered full operation on 31 August 2022. Orsted announced that all 165 wind turbines located 89 km off the Yorkshire Coast were fully operational, with the offshore transmission system including 390 km of subsea export cables delivering power to shore at Horseshoe Point in Lincolnshire.
