As part of Boskalis’s Hornsea 2 export cable installation scope, the three 130 km export cables were to be brought ashore via a 300 m horizontal directional drilling crossing beneath the sea defence at Horseshoe Point to connect to the onshore substation, with this landfall work included in a project scheduled for completion in late 2021.
