Description
JDR was awarded a contract by DONG Energy to design and manufacture 242 km of subsea inter-array power cables for the 1.2 GW Hornsea Project One (Hornsea 1) offshore wind farm. The scope also included cable terminations, hang-off arrangements, additional accessories, and related services to support delivery at the project site. The cables were to be manufactured at JDR’s Hartlepool facility, with batch deliveries scheduled for 2018 and 2019.
