Description
DeepOcean 1 UK Ltd, a subsidiary of DeepOcean Group, was awarded a contract by DONG Energy for Hornsea Project One to install and trench 93 inter-array cables with a combined length of 203 km. DeepOcean’s scope included associated route engineering, pre-lay grapnel run operations, installation of cable protection systems and messenger wires, with offshore work planned in two campaigns during 2018 and 2019 using DeepOcean’s dedicated cable installation and trenching vessels.
