Turbine installation at Hornsea Project One began in January 2019, with the first of 174 Siemens Gamesa SWT-7.0-154 turbines erected by A2SEA's installation vessels. Campaign continued through autumn 2019 and reached full power output in October 2019, ahead of formal commissioning to commercial operations by end of 2019. The 1218 MW project was the world's largest operational offshore wind farm at commissioning.
