The UK Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy approved the Hornsea Offshore Wind Farm Project One Decommissioning Programme on 7 March 2018 under Section 105(2) of the Energy Act 2004, formally agreeing the strategy for decommissioning the project’s offshore assets at end of life.
