Under a design and build contract from DONG Energy (now Ørsted), Tideway planned to start offshore execution for Hornsea Project One in 2017 with an engineering route survey and extensive seabed preparation works, including pre-trenching, backfilling, pre-sweeping, route preparation, and rock placement along the export cable routes from Horseshoe Point to the three offshore substations.
