Tideway BV, a DEME subsidiary, was awarded a Design and Build cable installation contract by DONG Energy for Hornsea Project One, covering cable‑laying, pre‑trenching, backfilling, route preparation, rock placement and landfall pull‑ins for three long high‑voltage export cables from shore to three offshore substations plus two interlink cables, with offshore works starting in 2017 and completion of the last export cable by mid‑2019.
