In 2014, as part of the Development Consent Order application for Hornsea Project One, the developer SMart Wind prepared an updated in‑combination auk displacement note. This clarification document quantified and mapped potential displacement impacts on auk populations from Hornsea Project One in combination with other offshore wind farms, using available abundance and density data to estimate displacement magnitude and refine the in‑combination environmental assessment for the project.
